Bodhi Tree Gardens began with a simple, urgent need: creating a safe, non-toxic sunscreen for my child, Bodhi. I discovered that many so-called “natural” sunscreens still contained ingredients that could become harmful in the sun. Determined to protect Bodhi without compromise, I developed a formula that was safe, effective, and made from ingredients I could trust — and that became the foundation of Bodhi Tree Gardens.

The business grew during a challenging time in my life. After the end of a difficult marriage, I turned to my garden as a way to heal and care for myself. Spending time growing plants and herbs became a daily practice of grounding, rebuilding, and discovering the practical benefits of herbs and natural ingredients — not just for personal wellness, but for everyday care.

Every item in this shop is hand-poured and crafted using ingredients grown from seed in our organic garden. Since then, Bodhi Tree Gardens has expanded to include skincare, bath and body products, salves, balms, herbal teas, and tinctures — all made with care, knowledge, and high-quality, non-toxic ingredients. I also wrote Rooted & Rising, a book sharing my story, herbal recipes, and wellness practices to help others incorporate natural remedies into their daily lives.
