Bodhi Tree Gardens began with a simple, urgent need: creating a safe, non-toxic sunscreen for my child, Bodhi. I discovered that many so-called “natural” sunscreens still contained ingredients that could become harmful in the sun. Determined to protect Bodhi without compromise, I developed a formula that was safe, effective, and made from ingredients I could trust \u2014 and that became the foundation of Bodhi Tree Gardens.<\/p>

The business grew during a challenging time in my life. After the end of a difficult marriage, I turned to my garden as a way to heal and care for myself. Spending time growing plants and herbs became a daily practice of grounding, rebuilding, and discovering the practical benefits of herbs and natural ingredients \u2014 not just for personal wellness, but for everyday care.<\/p>

Every item in this shop is hand-poured and crafted using ingredients grown from seed in our organic garden. Since then, Bodhi Tree Gardens has expanded to include skincare, bath and body products, salves, balms, herbal teas, and tinctures \u2014 all made with care, knowledge, and high-quality, non-toxic ingredients. I also wrote Rooted & Rising, a book sharing my story, herbal recipes, and wellness practices to help others incorporate natural remedies into their daily lives.<\/p>

Bodhi Tree Gardens is more than a shop \u2014 it’s a space to make conscious, safe, and effective choices for yourself and your family. Visit our farm stand to see where our ingredients grow, cut your own bouquet in our flower farm, and meet our flock, whose eggs we sell in our signature pink cartons.
